Apple Salad with Candied Pecans

Back in the day I would buy these candied pecans from the company diamond, I would sprinkle errr dump them onto my apple and grape salad and be like, that's healthy RIGHT? NOPE, but this version is and it is so easy! 

Cinnamon is so amazing first because it tastes so good and it keeps your blood sugar stable which also allows those pesky little cravings to stay at bay a bit longer. The combination of the protein from the vanilla Greek yogurt and, fiber and natural sugars from the fruit, and the addition of the healthy fats in the nuts it is an amazing snack that will fill you up for a while! 

Time 5 Minutes   Containers: 1.5 PURPLE 1 RED .5 BLUE


  • 1 small apple ( organic preferred)
  • 1/3 cup sliced grapes or blueberries
  • 1/2 cup or 1 container of vanilla Oikos Greek Yogurt
  • Dash of cinnamon 
  • 1-2 tablespoons of


Mix all ingredients together and enjoy! If you are packing this for a light lunch or a snack later in the day, you can always keep the nuts separate so they don't get soggy.  ENJOY!
