Sweet and Salty Pecans

This quick little snack is AMAZING! I mean like seriously it takes 5 minutes and you will absolutely love these little guys. They are an amazing sweet and salty snack that you can add to trail mix, finish off an apple and vanilla yogurt salad or add to oatmeal as a nice crunch! really the possibilities are endless! 


  • 1 cup pecans chopped ( or any desired variety)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. Place dry pecans into fry pan on low heat, stir often.  Do not walk away they can burn easily. Toast for 3-5 min until browned and fragrant.
  2. Drizzle pecans with honey, vanilla, salt and cinnamon toss to coat for an additional so seconds or minute.
  3. Place warm sticky pecans onto a plate to harden for a few minutes, break up and store in an airtight container for about 2 weeks.
